Lacoste Jr

It was in 1980, during the golden age of tennis, that Lacoste launched its sunglasses line. And with a reputation for easy-to-wear fashion Lacoste grew from a handful of shirts for the court designed by tennis pro Rene Lacoste in 1933, to the leisure-rich lifestyle brand it is today.

Nicknamed ‘the alligator’ for his technique on-court, Lacoste soon adopted the croc logo for his own clothes and it’s now a fashion symbol recognised the world over for its preppy and clean style.
