BLANKSTONE WELCOMES MAXMARA EYEWEAR

It’s a label we have been coveting for a while now, and so we are delighted to be introducing MaxMara Eyewear to Blankstone for Spring/Summer 2023.

Creative director Ian Griffiths has taken an Italian label renowned for its classic tailoring and, for this season, has combined femininity and modernity to put together a beautiful collection of contemporary clothes that any woman would love to wear.

Based around its famous camel colour palette, and adding in other neutrals, as well as exquisite colours such as pistachio and cornflower blue. High-waisted trousers and knitwear give a nod to 1930’s style, and the famous MaxMara is sleeveless. With wide-brim hats and slinky evening dresses, this is a design house which is all about a flattering silhouette.

The MaxMara Eyewear Collection, which Blankstone is delighted to introduce to you, marries MaxMara elegance with luxurious overtones. Packed with geometric shapes, oversized pieces and covetable designs which echo the MaxMara clothing collections. If you appreciate the very best in Milanese style then this is the optical range for you: reworking traditional elements to present thoroughly contemporary eyewear.

We asked our lovely Emma to pick her favourite frame from the range, and she plumped for the MaxMara MM5085. In her own words:

“We were so excited when the range arrived in practice. A classic MaxMara camel coat is on my ultimate style wish list, and so it was a delight to try on some pieces. This frame stood out for me as it really reflects what MaxMara is all about. The cat’s eye shape is super-flattering, and the darker frame with camel detailing, including that famous logo, makes these frames so versatile, so that they will work well with any wardrobe choice.’
