We are delighted at Blankstone to be the first exclusive stockist of Tart Optical in the UK. Born in 1948 in New York, the brainchild of brilliant optician and innovative eyewear designer, Julius Tart, it wasn’t too long until this perfectly crafted label came to Hollywood’s attention.

After James Dean added his stamp of approval, Tart Optical became the eyewear to be seen in. Intricately designed and handmade in Italy, the label moved to California after Julius retired, but his legacy is respectfully maintained.

From Lady Gaga to Demi Moore, and now made famous by Staney Tucci, who has been cooking up a storm in Tart Optical in his TV travels around Italy, this curated range is iconic, streamlined, luxurious and timeless.
